Description
This Jack is a cross between the folkloric bogeyman "Springheeled Jack" and the actual serial killer "Jack the Ripper". He's a deranged maniac who wears a monstrous exo-suit to bring fear to the people of London. The suit hides many weapons, including stilt-like extendable legs, gloves with retractable claws, glide-wings, and even a flamethrower in the mask's mouth.

What I most love about Springheeled Jack is how as early as the 1850's when he was featured in a ton of "Penny dreadfuls" (cheap pulp magazines), someone had the brilliant idea to make him a science-powered mechanical supervillain. In some portrayals he's essentially Spiderman's enemy the Green Goblin, an entire century early.

The way I portrayed Jack was essentially an imitation of Mark Hamill's work as the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series, complete with a high-pitched laugh that really hurt my vocal chords.
