too deep for the common man. which is dumb because its half giant robots fighting monsters and half deep emotional conflict. sprinkle a little conspiracy and hidden agenda and youve got a great anime. but none of that matters because its too "old"

How did you achieve that subtle RGB/color distortion effect, or whatever you call it.

chromatic aberration
use the lens correction filter and play with the sliders as you see fit

actually he commented in a fb post that you just have to move one of the channels to the side a little bit, may be better since lens correction distorts your image some
