I'm still alive!Aww jeebus recently i have NO time to GC, soo many school projects, end of the semester is coming close! >_<
SO ya this little lade here was done for ImagineFX magazine, i'm doing a tutorial in there in the next issue, or the one after, who knows! I'm almost done writting, look foward to it when it comes out!
I'll explain in details how i did this one, will images and the whole crap, you know.

I have a question out of pure curiosity. Is the the shoulder piece able to rotate? It looks like it's in a fixed sort of position at the moment, which would limit raising her arm. Just something I wanted to ask

This is beautifully done. I absolutely love the juxtaposition between the cold chunky armor bits and her bare skin/floofy skirt. Also, the use of colors is fantastic.

Well, I'm pretty sure you won't get around to reading this comment, but I hope you do as I have an actual critique for you piece, rather than simple blithering praise. First off, this is gorgeous. Great composition, and you obviously have spectacular technical skill, I can only hope to learn to paint like that once I start out at art school. All the same, I'm surprised no one seems to have pointed out the seeming disjointedness of the anatomy. It looks like you drew the torso with the armor on it from the start, without working the anatomy our first. By following the line of her arms and the location of her breasts, it looks as though the head and neck are displaced from the shoulders by several inches. The right arm looks as though it is coming out of a joint parallel to her boob, and her right forearm seems elongated.

A lot of people seem to think a real critique is an insult, but I only bother critiquing talented artists when it comes to deviant art. Your tutorial was great by the way, sometimes I feel like I learn more from people at dev than I do from my photoshop and painting classes, kinda sad really.

I saw this picture long ago in prints, I saved it but then everytime I tried to go to it it wouldn't load. Now I've found the picture again and the person who made it. This picture is one of the reasons why I love staying on deviantart. Beauty is far beyond anyones mind. And I've have been trying to find this one picture for many months. The mechanical stuff she is wearing looks cool although I have know idea what the practical use of it would be. Nice post apocalyptic background too! The burnt out building really gets my attention.
