Description
My second colouring of 's Dinosaucers redesign series, featuring Captain Sabertooth and...Smilin' Don...You know, going back to your childhood is not always great, as I discovered watching this series again. I loved it as a kid but now....well, at any rate, these designs bring me joy and possible hope that maybe, someday, it'll be redone. So, as you'll obviously see, I actually went out of my way to try and make their colour palettes as accurate to their original designs as possible, which wasn't so bad because they actually had decent colours, as opposed to the main heroes and villains that conform to horrible 'unifying' colour scheme. Anyway, I'm very proud with how they turned out, but the swords still bug me. If you guys have suggestions for alternatives, please share!
Kudos to go to for suggesting I do this one next.
Who from the collection should I do next? Lemme know!
Story: Leaders of the Steel Fang Pirate Organisation, these two have lead the raiding of many towns and even whole cities on Reptilon and other worlds, making the pair the most feared individuals in known space. One Leonidas Sabertooth is the Captain, labelling himself the King of Pirates, but his position of Captain once belonged to his subordinate, Donath Ferros, but more infamously known as Smilin' Don.
Don once ruled his crew his a iron fist, showing them little empathy or compassion. First Mate Sabertooth at the time lead a mutiny against him, having unparalleled support from the crew. Once robbing Don of his title as Captain, Sabertooth kept Don around, as the pair made a deal... Sabertooth holds the postion, but Don holds the power, a mutually beneficial relationship where Sabertooth keeps the morale and loyalty of the crew, while Don makes the real decisions.
Both are highly skilled in battle, espescially as a team, but lately, Sabertooth has started to horde more treasure and is pushing Don out of the decision making...a combination that will more likely than not be Sabertooth's undoing.

well, I knew I wanted gold for the hilt of the sword, so I realised it would simply be too much

An interesting and fun art piece featuring one of my favorite Ice Age mammalian predators, albeit in anthro form. The one on the right looks like a pirate, while the left one reminds me of a nomadic warlord. Are you going to do mammoths and terror birds next?

first I'd like to say, thanks so much for the praise.
Second, unfortunately those kinds of creatures didnt exist in the Dinosaucers TV show. Why these guys did at all is actually a bit of mystery to me, but yeah. They're both pirates, with the left one being the captain and the right one being his sub-ordinate (I do plan to mix things up a little when I re-imagine their back story though).
I do love terror birds and I wish they could have made an appearance down the line.

I did two of my anthropomorphic saber-toothed feline characters a while ago; one named Ranic and the other named Moe. They are uncle and nephew, but the uncle has two brothers (one of which is his nephew's father), while the nephew has a younger sister. I plan to do all of them soon enough, but you can see Ranic and Moe now.
