originally in crash bandicoot 4 the cortex was supposed to be older having white beard glasses and also to differentiate him from the crash 1 cortex but that was discarded this older cortex would make a lot more sense this because he would be more desperate to defeat crash already that your life time would be running out and also that would make the cortex create the crunch so that it defeats the crash as quickly as possible of course the crunch without using the elementals would be cooler lol🤣🤣
