Some Blaze the Cat fanart for you~
Doomed by laziness~

Wow, this seriously is my first pic in 2009! D8 .... it's unbelievable!
And the sketch for it wasn't even done this year... I did it back in November 2008 when we were in Lepzig. We visited a good friend of mum's and while we were sitting there talking and so on I took out my pencil and paper and drew this.
I tried my best to draw a good pic of Blaze for so long, but even if I managed to get the head look good, I failed the body. It's like my biggest curse that I'm unable to draw official characters... and my most favourite one the least... . .''

__About the Picture:__As already mentioned, I drew the sketch for this in November. I currently have an addiction to up-looking faces and for some reason I can draw these much better than the normal ones at the moment, so that's what I started with in this picture as well. As so often in the beginning I only had a very slight idea of the full picture in mind. I just drew and it turned out to be perfect for a "lay in the grass" picture.
I actually didn't start to CG this before... I don't wanna lie... new year I think, I'm not quite sure about it. I started to work on this to see if my motivation will grow more again if I work on something different than on those christmas chibis which just grew totally boring for me. In the beginning it seemed to work. I did the lineart in 2-3 days I think. But the coloring went much slower. I drew a bit... and then I didn't do anything for some days. I mostly kept working on it during my work practise because I just needed something to do there.
It was pretty hard for me to place all the shades right and especially on her left hand (right from our point of view) it's actually totally wrong but otherwise it just wouldn't look good at all.
And well the legs might look a bit weird in perspective, especially the fuzzy ends of the shoes but... thinking of their perspective they actually SHOULD look like that o o;; *scratches head*
But in the end I really like the overall picture. Even the grass that looked totally boring before my little brush attack, looks pretty good now. And the grass blades in the front gave it a pretty nice touch, just as the shadows of the clouds I added in the end. Well at least that's my opinion. ovo
Now everyone can try and think up whatever Blaze could see there above her~ x)
