Legend says that before the collapse of Nyr, on the northen shores of the Pale Isles lived a powerful sorceress who performed curses and blessings for the locals, sold them potions and commanded fearsome beasts of the sea. However, others believe she became a monstrous kraken herself as a result of her magic and was chased into the sea where she belonged by a red mist. Few recongnize she was simply a scholar of the College of Telmagk, practicing spells and incantations which required the mysterious energy of the deep waters.
