This month is Deviantart's 23rd birthday. Why I chose to make art for it this year was not only because the badge looks fucking awesome, but because it's also the 10th year of me actually visiting the site.

Picture this: It's 2013. You just got into a new show and wanna learn more about it. Well, that was the case with me and Cyberchase. I remember the show being one of my first special interests, and I would look up stock photos of episodes of the characters to save to my computer. Why? 9 year old me would make REALLY BAD edits out of them (which I actually might get around to posting someday. Who can tell?) I wound up stumbling upon Deviantart at the time, and after seeing all the amazing artists out there who drew characters from a show I enjoyed, I was hooked.

10 years later, I've been on the site since 2017 as an official member and I currently show no signs of leaving. In the beginning, I did get myself mixed in with the wrong people, but I've moved on from that now. So happy anniversary DA!
