Description
This axe-head with a ring in it is a phantom blade that housed itself within Marii's original sword, and is drawn out when Marii grips her sword with both hands and pulls it in two. (I would've included this in the animation but I wanted to mull over the amount of time Marii should spend doing this.)
This blade reacts to what the user wants to do with it, whether it be attacking or grappling. It doesn't correct the user's mistakes, it just doesn't make any of its own. Marii can choose the wrong target, but it won't ever accidentally hit someone.
The blade cannot be destroyed, but it can only damage what it's own energy can overpower. This also counts for the chain, which manifests as the distance between the connected blades grows. The blade will not be able to damage a big target that is too far away, but has a nearly unlimited reach.
