Description

It became not a long ago before Queen Athena died. Attina, the oldest of Atlanticas' princesses, was 11-years-old. One morning, Attina woke up and swam to her parents. Both of them were still asleep, but Attina's scream quickly woke them up.

Attina: 'Dad! Dad, wake up! We must go!'

Triton: 'Ouch! Attina! What did I tell you about pulling my beard?'

Attina: 'I'm sorry, Dad! But you promised me that I would have my first royal lesson today!'

Athena: 'You really promised her that, darling!'

So King Triton and Attina set out on their journey. They swam to the surface and sat down on a cliff. There Triton pointed down to the pure blue sea below and said: 'Listen to me, Attina. Everything the corals touch is our kingdom.'

Attina: 'Wow. It's so big!'

Triton: 'A ruler's time grows and bleaches like the coral. One day Attina, the corals will bleach on my time here and will grow with you as the new queen.'

Attina: 'And all this will be mine one day?'

Triton: 'Yes.'

Attina: 'Wow! Everything the corals touch... And what about that ugly grotto?'

Triton: 'That's beyond our borders. You mustn't go there Attina. Never.'

Attina: 'But I thought a queen can do everything.'

Triton: 'There are a lot of things to do.'

Attina: 'For example?'

Triton: 'You must listen to your subjects. It's important to respect the opinions of others.'

Attina: 'And why?'

Triton: 'Because they are not just things. They are merpeople just like you. When you will listen to them and respect their opinions (even if you don't like them) people will love and respect you.'
