I did some customizations to the SMB3 Thwomp sprite from Super Mario Maker 2 (where the Thwomp is more expressive), even going as far as trying to make the sprites look 16-bit. However, it did take me some time to do the conversion on the Thwomps that are tilted to the side (columns 6 and 7).
- Row 1: NES
- Row 2: Super Mario Maker / Super Mario Maker 2
- Row 3: SNES
- Row 4: GBA
- Column 1: Original sprites (expressionless)
- Column 2: Asleep
- Column 3: Half-awake
- Column 4: Attack
- Column 5: Returning to original position / Diagonal movement
- Column 6: Half-awake (sideways)
- Column 7: Attack (sideways)
