My god, this. I have seen too many people on the internet (and sometimes in real life) use this logic, it's so annoying. -_____-
Since when do you get to decide who has poor taste and who doesn't? Nobody did.
We don't live in the 5th century anymore. There isn't a King of the World (or a large country) that gets to decided what people should be allowed to like.
Just because someone likes a TV show that isn't popular, doesn't mean they're stupid or blind. To make someone feel bad for liking a, again flipping TV show doesn't mean they have bad taste.
Picking one someone for that doesn't make you look "special", it makes you look like a huge jerk. I thought we all learned to respect people's sane opinions in like first grade. Honestly.

I agreed! I like Sonic Boom and Teen Titans Go, and I don't care if people hate them as long they don't have a negative thought on me for liking it.

Agreed. This goes for games too. I've played and enjoyed the 3DS demo of Sonic: Lost World, which is a game that Sonic fans tend to dislike. And I want to try out SoulCalibur V, Samurai Shodown Sen and Megaman X7 which are widely hated by their fanbases (and for the latter, I heard that my one of my favorite Youtubers said that if you liked the games, then you're insane, nothing against him, though).
In fact, people can like any media they want. Liking something =/= poor taste.

This stamp is perfect. I sometimes like shows or movies that are hated by most people (like the live action Cat in the Hat movie and modern Spongebob seasons), but that doesn't make me stupid. Thinking that is just wrong.

Well sometimes I can't help but feel someone has poor judgement in certain shows when it comes to shows I really, vehemently dislike. But I'm not going to make assumptions about their tastes altogether, nor will I demean them to their face (figuratively speaking if we're talking online) for liking a TV show I don't like or having opinions on it that I disagree with.

I will admit that I can't understand why someone would like the "Love" Hina anime since not only are most the characters are annoying, but the plot is also quite cliche. But I'm not going to attack anyone who enjoys it.

I definitely agree though. It's not just shows. It can apply to movies, music, video games, etc. Everyone should be allowed to like/dislike something even if you feel differently about it. I always hated when people think they can call someone out for liking something. :/
