Join us in an exciting tale as Cyclops confronts Magneto in his lair. Magneto has kidnapped potential mutants for his army, and Cyclops negotiates for their release. Will Magneto relent? Oh no! Magneto attacked Cyclops with metal spheres, and one of them damaged his visor. Now he can’t release his optic blasts and is effectively powerless! Now an injured Cyclops has to escape before Magneto discovers his vulnerability. Escaping down a hallway, Cyclops is ensnared by Magneto in chains. But Cyclops manages to temporarily open his visor a crack, and his optic blasts free him from the chains.

He runs into David, a former student at Prof. X’s academy. David wears a white costume and mysterious visor. Magneto boasts David is a willing recruit to his mutant army. But Cyclops realizes David was kidnapped and brainwashed! Magneto commands David (codenamed Slimer), who shoots gooey, sticky green slime at Cyclops! Cyclops is soon trapped like a fly in a web, but this "web" is stretchy, sticky, gooey, clinging slime!

Even with the slime encasement hampering his movements, Cyclops managed to inch his hands to his visor, and he fumbled with the broken manual release button, trying to use his optic blasts. And surprisingly, it worked! Ruby beams burst from his visor, and he sliced through the slime. Hooray! Will Cyclops free himself from the slimy cocoon trap and manage to escape from Magneto and Slimer? Or if they capture our hero, what will Magneto do to him?
