Description
The following is a fun re-imagining of some of the Villains from the 1960s Batman TV show done completely for entertainment and in no way reflects the works of DC entertainmentThe Bookworm: Once struggling writer Arther Reed was an editor for Wayne Publishing. It was a job he was well suited for due to his ability to speed read at near meta human levels, and can retain any info he has ever read. However the only thing he ever wanted to be was a world renowned Author. The only problem is he has no Imagination or originality so every work he ever started was a plagiarism of another work. While at work he came across a manuscript by an unknown writer that he stole and passed off as his own. when the book took off he was confronted during a live TV interview by the actual author. Loosing control Reed Killed the man by sealing him up inside a wall in the same fashion Edgar Allen Poe depicted. The oddness of the murder attracted The Batman to the case soon Reed's personality was taken over by his new persona The Bookworm. armed with his Surveillance Spectacles his Computerized "Book lamp" attached to his hat and his vast knowledge of crime novels. He feels he is more than a match for Batman
side note: I did a little updating on this character but stayed as close to the original as possible because Roddy McDowell's performance as Bookworm was actually frightening
