Description A coloring of a regular square tessellation (tiling) with a motif that includes a recurrent similarity transformation (small copies of the motif are part of the motif). The coloring is vaguely naturalistic, as ocean and atmosphere are suggested by the wave-like spiral elements.

The tiling pattern is derived from the largest linear features of a fractal boundary. See [broken link: Thirds waves description] for construction details and templates.

Like the recurrent transformation. Very interesting.
Clever how the pattern spins clockwise on the left hand side and counter clockwise on the right. You would expect it to be a mirror of the opposite side and its not. Has a very different profile.

I could study this for hours!
