I assume this is payback for Mabel calling Dipper a creep when he encounter Lil Wendy, I though that moment was heartwarming until Mabel ruin it.

The way I see, that scene worked on two levels. If you are against, or just indifferent to, WenDip you could read it as a sort of ship sinking epilogue (the real ship sinker was "Into the Bunker"). Shippers might see it as a ray of hope: "There was an attraction from the very start! It's destiny!"

Meh I'm not really that much of a Mable fan overall. Don't get me wrong she's adorable and funny but she has a tendency of being too silly at the wrong times and endangering lives. Also I don't really think there's all that much age difference between Wendy and Dipper. She's like 15 and he's 12 that's only three years it's not like he's still in diapers; heck he's a lot more mature than the other guys Wendy hangs out with (and less of a jerk than Robbie).Β
Well that's enough ranting for today. Let's just say that this pic was awesome, and I kinda wish it was really featured in the show.

Yeah , And Dipper's reaction to Mabel's was kind of a bummer ... it appears that he's going to stop crushing on Wendy from that point on. Which I'm kind of upset after he confess his feelings to Wendy in "into The Bunker". Seems like a bad way to end that ship after a great moment like that

Gosh yes, I REALLY wish Alex Hirsch could have come up with a better way to end the ship. It's such a hard feeling in my heart when I saw his reaction. Unlike the rest of my family that just laughed I actually got a frown on my face. He didn't even have to end it anyways! It was fine the way it was, in the friend zone, Actually, the BEST friend zone! And no, it's not at all that creepy when someone who is younger or older then you has a crush on you. In my opinion I think the age doesn't matter as long as you're only five years apart or closer to age. Seriously, my sister was 18 when she met her husband, who was at the time was 23 years old! They later on got married and now has three beautiful children! Gosh, just wait until Dipper grows to be 18 years or older! If the show would go on for that long I think things would change between the two.Β

Exactly , age difference should not matter in this time and age considering how relationships work. The scene itself could had a quick cut once the joke was done but instead we have a second were Dipper frowns in disgust as if he have done something nasty, I mean this kid CRY when he thought Wendy was dead and even dare to change time itself to get Wendy a prize yet he reacts like it was a bad habit . What the cray?! If that's how the show views age difference in couples and those that support it (like the WendyXDipper shipper I am) than for that matter every Jelsa fan is a register sex offender. If the ship was sunk when Wendy told Dipper her feelings I was happy, at least they ended in a good note!

So Dipper was a creep for liking a older human girl yet Mabel is flirting with teenagers and a different species but get's off free ?? I love Mabel but she's looking like the creator's pet.

The only explanation for this is that Gideon was 9 in "hand that rocks the mable" but turned 10 somewhere between that episode and "blendin's game". That would also explain Bud's "just had a baby sale" because Gideon might be just a few days or a couple of weeks old.
