Sculpted in clay. Molded and cast in bronze and welded together.

oh so they made it and had it, ok i see. Its so amassing. I wander if it will just stay or if there is a trick to keep it standing. I'm workforce on sculptures at the Tim and i want to make them to were they will stay like that one. All i have is clay though. So u know how or where they get it casted?

Bronze is very strong and can hold up it's own weight on very little support. I had it molded and cast at a bronze foundry.

This struck me the moment I saw it; I was compelled to see its details. Often times one thing can blend into the next on DA with the plethora of items that sweep in on a daily basis, but this truly made me stop and take a moment.
I need to tell you what an INCREDIBLE piece of work it is.
The fact that you achieved such marvellous detail, created such movement and softness to the animal; all in a sculpting medium! It is an achievement to be revered and admired.
In the mass of items that pass before my eyes day after day, this has really stood out as a masterful piece of work.
You should feel very accomplished, you have a rare talent and an attention to detail that clearly must take a great deal of blood sweat and tears. Give yourself a pat on the back, you surely deserve it!

to be clear...you cast 20 of this particular sculpture and there are 12 left?

They are cast to order. Too expensive to have all 20 cast at once and hope to sell them.
