Description

As today marks the 25th anniversary of the debut of Duckman, a strong contender for most underrated adult cartoon of the '90s (seriously, not even having Jason Alexander of Seinfeld fame be the voice of the title character is able to help it get more recognition than it already does), here is my way of celebrating.

Sketched for nine minutes with a Staedtler Norica HB #2 pencil, outlined for three minutes with a black Prismacolor Premier marker, and inked for eight minutes with Mr. Sketch scented markers. Duckman's glasses, which ostensibly double as his eyes, were inked in 40 seconds with Staedtler double ended fiber-tip markers. All of this was laid down on Strathmore bristol paper, which I cut from 11x14 to 8.5x11 for it to fit on my scanner.

Duckman is owned by Viacom.
