Description Didact is not our enemy. The master builder has finally been unmasked!
Ah, my character production is finally finished, if you notice it has a format similar to the art about Yprin Yprikushma, but here I do not want to describe a character, but to theorize about a doubt that in my head wanders about the future of a very mysterious of the Halo saga. This is, in my imagination, Faber-of-will-and-might.

Throughout the entirety of the Forerunner saga so far the Didact has been the protagonist all the way. Yes at first he seems slightly arrogant towards humans but this very soon disappears as his tragic past is unveiled. Then later on in Cryptum the main protagonist, from which the story is told by basically becomes The Didact...During this time we are introduced to Faber, the "Master Builder". Right from the beginning he is clearly EVIL, he threatens Bornstellar, he test fires a Halo ring in on a dead planet destroying huge precursor ruins and freeing "The Captive, Timeless One, The Last Precursor" whichever name you choose for it. Then he fires the ring again to punish the San 'Shyuum for a small rebellion, sterilising the entire planet and killing all its inhabitants. After this, as Bornstellar begin to "become" the Didact. He is revealed to have tortured and killed the "original" Didact after he did not reveal how to make use of the Shield Installations to Faber. Then nearing the end of Cryptum as "Faber" is in the middle of being trialled for his use the Halo against the San 'Shyuum in the Capital, the system is attacked by rampant Mendicant Bias. This leads to Primordium. In Primordium little more is mentioned of the Master Builder except it is revealed that he had began to use humans in his experiments on the Flood to find the "cure" the humans uncovered.

Although we know that Didact is an organic enemy of current humans from what happened in the graphic novels and the video game, he is not dead yet, and his presence in the Halo universe can attract other enemies.
The point is that we really do not know if Faber died in facility 07, it is presumed that he carried out this action to "redeem himself" for the number of crimes committed, because the truth is that he is very afraid of being punished, besides considering it as shame before his person. If we're talking about the Master Builder, we're talking about someone with superior cunning, so it doesn't sound far-fetched that he planned everything to make it look like he's dead and locked himself in a Cryptum. (Let's not forget that there are still living forerunners in the halo universe and that they can search for him to kill him.) So I think that Faber could be accidentally woken up by a Halo antagonist, and for his part start planning the reconquest of the galaxy like in the old days, with Cortana or The Outcasts. Didact upon learning of the awakening of Faber "his enemy" would seek the help of the Master Chief and the humans to defeat the Master Builder and company.
