- MANY THANKS FOR ALL YOUR FAVES AND COMMENTS ON THIS DAILY DEVIATION! -Year 3021 | 1:39 a.m.
The ground of the desolated area on this forgotten planet was shocked by the unexpected landing of a huge spacecraft.
On the next day a small crew was sent to discover what is going on inside of that strange borg ship...
IΒ΄ve used a combination of different meshes for the ship, rendered in Vue and postprocessed in Photoshop.

This one's great! I find a lot of digital art looks too polished for my tastes, but this has a much grittier feel. You've done a great job conveying the size of the craft as well, and the dramatic sky's an added bonus!

Many thanks, i am glad you like it! And i completely agree with you. Lots of digital and 3d art looks way too polished and artificial. Way too "digital" and lifeless. I always try to get rid of this look when working with 3d or digital base material. Thanks again for the faves and the watch too

It looks like an orbiting type ship that was forced to land as the title leads me to think. I wonder a bit about the safe landing, but it may just suggest very advanced technology. I also like the story of it being a borg ship; those guys aren't going to like this exploration. When will we learn that it's sometimes good to stay away, or send in droids!
