The ground of the desolated area on this forgotten planet was shocked by the unexpected landing of a huge spacecraft.
On the next day a small crew was sent to discover what is going on inside of that strange borg ship...
Iยดve used a combination of different meshes for the ship, rendered in Vue and postprocessed in Photoshop.

This is a fantastic piece, the people on the ground convey the massiveness of the ship, and the textures and shapes of the ship are fascinating. The lighting is also perfect for the scene, and overall conveys a tone of something bad having happened. Wonderful job, I must practice and be able to do something like this one day.

Awesome design, but you should make the back end pieces look more chamfered (they look too hard edged and like it was made in a 3D program) and add damage, like modeled in or a normal map. The grunge look over the whole ship does look like photoshop, so you should try to put it in the diffuse map.

That ship is amazing! Good job! The only suggestion i have is having the ground look "plowed" up around the base of the ship like it dug into the earth a bit when it was fored to land in a hurry.

This is an amazing piece and quite some imagination - very complex.
Remember that the only thing distracting are the human figures in the foreground which are not only most probably in the wrong scale but their horizon angles make them look weird.
