Looking into the mythology, I was intrigued to find that the story of "Little Red Riding Hood", dating back to its earliest written incarnation by Charles Perrault in 1697, is basically about sexual awakening.Doesn't take much Freudian study to figure it out, really: young and pure, covered in her protective red cloak, all alone in the dangerous woods being stalked by the ravenous, predatory wolf.
