Description
Irith know as Irina was paint by her lover a young painter back in 1883, she was 20 years old, young and beautiful.
The young man decided to paint her as persephone: the wife of Hades and queen of hell. quite appropriate for a half demon.
But the paint wasn't good enough and got real bad critics from London society, the young painter couldn't find any work and rumors ( actually true) started that Irina, the daughter of an high born russian man and the man had an affair because she was the model and mostly naked.
She denied and lied about regretting being part of the painting and had to worked with the man.
The painter, penniless and heartbroken died on christmas eve, in the cold and dirty attic of an overdose of laudanum.
After his death, Irith had to take every proof of their relation from the attic, sketches, painting, poems but she never found the painting of persephone who destroy his life.
She kept everything he had during all her life instead of destroying them like his father asked her.
But lately, the picture was found and she couldn't believe it.
