Description
This piece has had a title since it began as a small sketch you can find in my sketchbook gallery (uhm, soonish ha), but I'm not prepared to divulge until it's really and truly finished.I always seem to have more in-progress than I can keep up with, but these will all definitely be finished in time. I just move slowly. This piece has definitely taught me a lot but as always, in order to execute the idea properly, I must always step back from a canvas and give the image time to settle and to finish working its way out to me, as well as rework any errors I might spot with a fresh eye.
I'm always using the marker/pencil/watercolor brush options. I don't usually draw these images on the tablet, but in the sketchbook first. As someone firmly between the analog and the digital ages, I'm just best served by paper, pencil, and that pesky extra step of importing it into your art program. Some paintings, like "Serious Moonlight 9:57" aren't sketches, they are just free-flowing pieces I draw for pleasure and learning the tools.
