I've been part of a photography challenge all April, and my challenge is to take photos in a quadratic format. This is the first one I've really liked, but I might upload some more later on.

A very good idea. Sometimes we all need a hand or even two

By the way, viewed carefully in the right way the central part of the card pyramid will pop into 3-D...

The simplest ideas are so often the best, but this must have taken some doing. How long did the cards stay up after the removal of the missing one?

I love the expression on the model's (your?) face~ It fits. :3
At first, I wasn't sure what I was looking at. I clicked on the thumbnail because of the card tower. And then OMG awesome concept.

Gosh that must have taken some time. And then to have the guy keep the cards stable enough for a photo? Well done! Really.
Congrats on the DD also!

Awesome!
Would've been twice as awesome if you didn't use tape however
But the concept and idea is still pretty amazing

I understood just what you said. Inte sΓ₯ mycket till hemlighet dΓ₯! Γr frΓ₯n sverige men kan inte rΓ€kna ut om ni Γ€r frΓ₯n Norge eller Danmark... Gissar Norge.
Am I right?

Beautiful. This is what I like to see. Good Dynamic Range, Tonal Range, Tonal Quality, fine detail, good light, great composition and subject.
In an image like this where there is a very narrow color range, Tonal Quality is as important as it is in Grayscale images. It is also a great help to an image to have at least one element of color in the image, which you have around your wrist.
Did you do that for this reason?

this is so cool.
is it a manip or did you do it "in reality"? Must have been a lot of work to make it look like this
π: 0 β©: 1
MartheMa In reply to senfbeu [2008-04-21 16:51:30 +0000 UTC]
Thank you very much ^^
There is no manipulation in photoshop beside the colours and tones.
The trick is to use lots of *whispers* tape. Works like a charm.
