Hey, I'd tell you to cheer up, but I've not been 100% lately. Funny how success (yours and those of your firends) can do that to you.
I just got a job (after being unemployed and under employed for years). My best friend finally found a good woman. So why do I cry at the drop of a hat?
Apparently it has something to do with how so many of us who have lived with struggle for so long have all this 'shoring up' that we do within our psyche, and when there's no need for it, we sort of loose it for a short time.
I know it isn't long term. I know the positives of me having a job and my friend having a girlfriend will eventually outweigh this feeling. But I now understand why when I'm finally doing OK that I feel so lousy.

I love the effect in your photos ^_^ It's quite unique, I haven't seen it on dA yet, not with photography in any case.
I also think... (weird comment warning) that who's ever feet they are, and the feet that have been in your photos various times, are quite nice. You know, some feet are just repulsive
