Description
First of all, I'm really flattered that you guys enjoy these animations this much, Thank you !
I know a lot of people are still asking for a longer animated clip or a full movie of it
It does sounds like a great plan, I'd like to see one ,too
but reality is an asshole.
time consuming
Like I might have mentioned before, animation is an extremely l̶i̶f̶e̶ ̶d̶r̶a̶i̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ things to do.
It will always take more efforts than you expected.

In the premise of working alone
I cant’t say there is an average time you have to spent on an animation,
each clip has it’s own particular difficulties.
like the “possessed" and "fighting clips" , they have almost the same amount of duration, but guess which one took the most time?

The answer is A
it took 3 months to complete while the other took about a month
so there’s no guarantee a shorter clip would take less time.
Now imaging how long would that take to finish a full animated movie?
Another key element for a nice film is voice acting.
Apart from contacting the voice actor,voice recording indeed is a joyful step,
but it’s definitely not a job which you can finish in just an hour.
The actor would have to repeat the same dialogue repeatedly in order to find the suitable voice for the scenario , so sometimes we will need a “voice director “to guide them. And there’s no way I’ll travel aboard just to do this….
So sadly , this movie dream likely won’t came true,
and still I got a lot to improve in the future,
I know these will all became the stuff I'll come back and feel cringe at it,
but at least I feel bless for having so much fun and share the same interest without hesitate with you all in here.

You don't NEED to do a movie. Or a full length animation in general, your short animations are enough to blow my mind. Keep making amazing art, get enough sleep and sunlight and we'll be happy!
(Reason why i say sunlight is because I get out of the house only because of the 50% discounts at the art and book store. Amazing i know )

We all understand it takes a lot of time and effort, don't stress yourself out! Just take your time and do what you love! Also, I have always wanted to animate, so what supplies and programs do you suggest for a beginner?

I'll suggest Adobe Flash or TV paint, to me it's quite easy to master.

For voice acting, Jack has been wanting to do more voice acting, so maybe ask him on tumblr! He might be willing to help. But really, don't pressure yourself. Amazing things take time ( and effort)! But if people ask for animations and other stuff ( including me I know I've asked a few times) you don't have to do it! Don't think you have to. Just hope you enjoy what your doing, and don't feel pressured.

Don't feel the pressure to do stuff just to please us x3 just make your stuff, it's wonderfull that you share it with us. In any fandom it's the case of wanting good content versus doing it yourself. It takes time and effort. If you see that hey, this person is doing this cool thing, people go to that person and start to ask for more. It's easier than doing stuff yourself. Not to say that we could animate as good as you.Hell no, I can't even animate a stick figure. But you make me want to learn x3 Thank you for inspiration and all this amazing content.

Its certainly a goal to create and to produce a full animated short, myself as well as others to see that would be AMAZING! You have so much talent, I think you could definitely do it. Creating animations has a lot of aspects to consider both visuals and audio and even these terms are broad as you have consider overlaying effects, backgrounds, sound effects etc. I can understand how much work it takes and it can defiantly drain energy out of the system. However, without sounding formal and as friendly advice, if you feel that it pressures or stresses you, then you don't have continue doing long animations. Remember that you have done so many wonderful work and love how your work has brought discussion and curiosity. I admire you for your talent and wish I could say thanks in person, rather than words on a screen (even though I'm slightly shy). You have come so far and your work shows your progress and that is wonderful journey to be a part of and I can't wait for future works. Yet, if you still want to do a longer animated sequence, then good on you, follow that dream! Sometimes a challenging project can really test our abilities and can really makes us see our own strengths. Here's to the ones who dream. Support to you, to infinity and beyond buddy!

Q2: How do you work with perspective with character movement, such as the way the body twists so that it doesn't look out of proportion?

Q1: How long does it take to fully illustrate one character?
If it's an animated figure , usually the outline would be an absolute hell , it take the most time, once you screw up, then the whole clip would make you cringe to death . And about how long it takes, it's still depends on the difficulties and how much frames you have there , anything contains faces is the worst.
If we're talking about a single frame , I guess it take about 10 to 15 minute or more ? in average? from draft to fully colored.
Q2: How do you work with perspective with character movement, such as the way the body twists so that it doesn't look out of proportion?
That's the fun part of being an animator, sometimes you might have to do the exact same performance for your character. Ex: you're making a clip about a man who trips and fall, then you'll have to do the same action like him.Or you can just go to youtube and find something you need...
The key to make the character doesn't look out of proportion is all about your basic skills on drawing, if you've done some hand drawn animations before, you'll know that "key frame" is the one who decide how the movement would look like(will talk about this it the tutorial)
you don't want your characters suddenly transform into Picasso style when they turn their face around (no offence) ,so drawing skills is essential for animations .

aw that's a bummer.. i mean, i get it, of course, animation is a time consuming thing and i'm not suprised that you cannot do longer animations. totally understandable, yet sad, your stuff is awesome and animations would be even more. though, maybe some day
for now though, these little bits, funny sketches or super cool artworks are just as satisfying, keep doing awesome art!
