i got really interested in the story and characters, and then i realised it was based on something else and got sad, i was really hoping to be based on a movie/book so i could watch/read the whole thing.

If it's any consolation, a 'book-like narrative' of sorts is being worked on that will go in depth about what Mask is depicting in their fanworks. We'll let you know when that will be released. :3

Dang I wanna know the story.. What happened with Dark?

The more I look at the pictures, the more I start to have a little theory-story in my head. Like....
Of course, Dark and Anti were friends when they were kids (top left), and they both found a big tree to hang out together at, and they would go to the tree almost every single day. As they would get older, the more they spend time on that tree, for almost a full day/night (top right). And I'm guessing that on the bottom left is where things start to go bad. My guess is that - as adults now - Dark and Anti are soldiers, protecting their land by a bunch of monsters, and other dangerous things that would destroy their universe. And I could tell that probably on the bottom left, Anti says that he doesn't want to be a soldier anymore, so that he and Dark would just hang out on their tree more, instead of being interrupted by a bunch of other soldiers bossing them around. Dark disagrees, making them start to have an awful fight with each other. Dark wins the fight, and goes off into a long and harsh war, leaving Anti behind, suddenly breaking their friendship. Months later after the war, Anti is left alone on the tree, glad that Dark and the other soldiers won the war, but very upset that they aren't friends anymore, regretting what he said about quitting being a soldier.

I GOT SOMETHING TO ADD!
The fighting takes place in Mark's and Jacks world and they are the home of them to stay when they can't fight. To leave their hair for battle, they need to take control of their host real quick. With Dark, this was never really a problem because Mark, his descendent/ancestor, embraces him fully in his channel.
However, good old Jackaboy is a little more feisty. Jack doesn't like the possessions and often fights them, making Anti frustrated about his job, eventually making him quit around Halloween (thus the name of the video Say Goodbye).. When Dark gets back in February, everything is fine and dandy. They won and Anti feels the guilt of leaving early. So, he escapes his world to return to his descendant/ancestor, Jack, at a bad time when world winds, or whatever, can make people easy, causing him to fall into insanity by the time he gets there. The reason he acts like a cat.
Dark follows him out of guilt later on and sees what happened to Jack. He is disgusted and tried return but, the government, from wherever he's from, forbids him to do so, forcing him to make himself at home with Markimoo.

I LOVE how you represented the passage of time in each piece. I kept going back and forth between them, looking for all of the differences.
You have a way with light and atmosphere that I just envy! THAT is something I wish I had learned in my college courses; you're not only representing that time of day and the distance from one point to another, you're also representing a mood in each piece, reflecting what the characters feel and degradation of the view before them.
It's beautiful!~ And the colors are amazing.
There's a story here in your works that I would really love to hear or read. I'm so entranced by what's going on, especially in comparison to other works you've done of the same subject.
