Description Aloha fabled users of the interwebs!

Say... This isn't a YCH...

No, this is in fact a full fledged commission, courtesy of the illustrious artist, , featuring their character, Anyma, procuring the services of one Ema Skye from the "Ace Attorney" series.

And, before I get to the backstory of this piece, I must inform you all that has also posted this piece in their gallery. So, if you would like to see it there (which you should), you can find it here: www.deviantart.com/homunculusl…

ANYHOO, scenario time!

Once upon a time, there was a talented artist. In terms of skill, she was great. But unfortunately, despite her talents, she had one problem; her chair was no longer adequate for her health or needs, and thus she needed a new one. While she eventually attained one through the help of her supporters, word of the artist's plight spread throughout the land, soon reaching the ears of a certain purple haired, masked inventor. One who was fairly familiar with the artist.

This inventor, being fairly close to the artist, was aghast that she didn't come to her immediately with her problem! But, the inventor was of the forgiving sort, and decided that she would make the artist a new chair anyway, free of charge! After all, that's what a "good friend" would do, and the inventor liked to believe herself the best. And thus a new chair she did make, complete with a bevy of new features that the inventor knew the artist would find "hysterical"! But alas, there was a problem. While the inventor did not doubt her abilities, she was also not one to take half measures, especially with her creations. She needed to test this chair before delivering it to the artist! But whom could she find to "volunteer" to the process?

It's then that she remembered a list she made some time ago. A list of associates and affiliates for the "Wright Anything Agency". And looking back at this list, the inventor believed she found the perfect candidate to test her product. A scientific investigator by the name of Ema Skye. Now, the inventor had looked into the good Ms. Skye's history some time ago, and she saw that, even from a young age, the young girl was obsessed with science, even studying abroad to become a forensic investigator (which she flunked out of at first, but she got the job in the end). In a small way, this tickled the inventor's fancy (no pun intended), and after thinking back, the inventor believed that Ms. Skye would be the perfect candidate to test her new device. After all, they were both firm believers of the scientific method, so the inventor just KNEW that the good Ms. Skye would MORE than appreciate helping her.

After all, it was for science...

And with that thought, and a sly smirk on the inventor's masked face, she crossed Ms. Skye's name off her list, and went to fetch her new "volunteer".

Honestly, I'm glad I was able to commission this! As you can probably tell from my gallery, I tend to commission a lot of YCH's from people, and while I love commissioning those, I've been wanting to get a proper commission for some time, and you know what? I feel it's only appropriate that the first original commission I get be from the first artist I ever got a commission from, period, so thank you !

As for the piece itself, I absolutely love it! Seeing Ema giggle away in the chair as its various appendages explore her body is just fantastic (especially the ones at her ears; that's just cute), the roller at her feet is still a fantastic edition, and Anyma's smug body language and expression as she leans over Ema while the poor scientific investigator laughs herself into a tizzy is just priceless. I think I especially love seeing Anyma's various inventions scattered around the area while Ema is strapped into the chair. Does well in showcasing that this chair is still in the testing phase, and thus is technically not off the proverbial "conveyor belt", hence why the testing process (heh, title drop) is being done here. Especially like the little circuit board and wire next to the chair there; helps further establish that this is probably where everything gets built. I like little details like that!

So , if you're reading this, thank you again for accepting this commission, and I'm glad you had fun doing it! You did an amazing job, and I hope you feel proud, amigo!
