My thirtieth and final entry into ’s May Madness Challenge!Day 30: Puppet
The puppet dances for its master...
Its actions are not its own...
It has no thoughts of its own...
No presence of its own...
It cannot will...
It cannot want...
All it has is what it is given.
Its only purpose is what is assigned to it.
For by itself, it’s nothing...
No matter how hard it wishes otherwise.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank for giving me the chance to participate in the May Madness Challenge. While there were a couple submissions I wasn’t exactly proud of (looking at Mechanical and Entertainment right now), I had a lot of fun with this. It was fun coming back and seeing what the new word of the day would be, as it allowed me to stretch my creative muscles and see what I could put out. It was also especially fun to see what other participants were putting out, if just to see what they could accomplish with the same source material! In fact, a few times, they’re contributions helped influence my own submissions, so to those people, , , and , thank you!
But in the end, I’m thankful to for allowing me and several other people to take part in this challenge! I really appreciate this opportunity!
As always, feel free to comment and critique, and I wish everyone a great month ahead in June!
EDIT: Fixed the right hand. The more I looked at it, the more it annoyed me.
