I remember once hearing on a television show that artists should be creative and spontaneous.

If you replace the word 'randomly' with 'spontaneously' in the sentence 'Hen draws randomly on whatever sheet of paper is lying around with whatever drawing utensil is lying around,' it almost makes me sound like a good artist.

I really need to stop drawing on old pieces of paper that have already been written on and using blunt pencils to do so.
