KOPA: Welcome to the Tree of Life, Jasiri, Janja.

JANJA (surprised): You know us?

KOPA: My brother Kion has told me about you guys.

(Jasiri and Janja are very surprised to be standing in the presence of Kion’s big brother and they lower their heads in respect for a moment before raising their heads back up)

JASIRI: It’s an honor to get to meet the big brother of Kion.

KOPA (as he lowers his head in respect and back up again): And it’s an honor to meet you guys as well.

KION: Jasiri? Janja? What you doing here?

JASIRI: It's Zira. She and her pride of evil lions are back.

(Shere Khan and Uru are very shocked at this news)

KION: What?

FULI: Zira?

BESHTE: Oh, no.

TAZAMA: Hiyo Kali!

ANGA: Zira?

ONO: She's the leader of some very bad lions.

KION: My dad banished them for betraying the Pride Lands.

BUNGA: But you roared those lions all the way out of the Outlands.

JASIRI: Yes, but they're back now. And now Zira's son, Kovu, and daughter, Vitani, are fully grown.

JANJA: Hate to admit it, but us hyenas don't stand a chance against those lions.

AZAAD: The hyenas told me all of this. It is why I brought them here as fast as I could, and faster than they could.

IMANI (giving a gentle correction): For the record, it wasn’t just for betraying the Pride Lands. It was also because Zira attacked your father when he told her that Scar was never the real King in response to Zira’s protest that he could not rule the Pride Lands because of Scar having chosen her son Kovu to be King.

JASIRI (turning to Kopa upon noticing Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, and Imani there and recognizing them from Zira’s Pride): Kopa, with all respect, (pointing to Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, and Imani) why are they here?

KOPA (seeing that Jasiri is referring to Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, and Imani): Jasiri, they were the ones who helped rescue me from Zira’s attack and stood by my side throughout my time here at the Tree of Life. I know I found it really odd at first too. But without them, I would have been given up for dead and prepared for today.

JASIRI (shocked at Kopa’s connection with Zira): Zira?! So that explains why Kion was believed to had been born second.

KOPA: Yes, Jasiri. (With Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, and Imani by his sides) She’s why Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, and Imani defected. It didn’t take long before Zira’s attack on my life completely destroyed her relationship with Imani, changing it from best friends to enemies. Zira also did not know that Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, and Imani saw what Zira did to me, and it left them so furious that they decided to call it quits with her, her Pride, and her cause. And so, with help from Azaad, they and Imani’s family came with me to the Tree of Life and helped take care of me and prepare me for Zira’s return which you mentioned. I’ve been willing to give Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, and Imani a second chance. They and Imani’s family and my other friends Shere Khan, Bagheera, Baloo, and Uru wish an end to Zira’s journey on the Circle of Life as much as we do.

JASIRI (forming a smile 😀 on her face and addressing Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, and Imani): Well, if you trust them, Kopa, then that’s good enough for me.

JANJA (smiling as well): Me too.
