(Kiara gets Simba to reconcile as she heals his scar and Nala is happy at Kiara and Simba's reconciliation)

Kovu and Kiara leap in-between Simba and Zira, each facing their respective parent.

SIMBA (shocked): Kiara?

KIARA (before Simba can say anything else): I’m sorry for what I did to you, it wasn’t right. But this has to stop. You’ve said it yourself before, “We are one”. There is no “they” nor “them”, there’s “us”. [Kiara looks at the Outsiders.] Look at them. [Nala, who is standing at Simba's shoulder, looks at him questioningly. Simba looks at the Outsiders.] They are us. What differences do you see?

The Outsiders look at one another uncertainly. Vitani continues to glare at Simba's pride but, after a moment, lifts her head and widens her eyes. Kiara and Simba exchange meaningful glances. Kiara smiles as she places right paw on Simba’s scar before removing it to see Simba’s scar vanishing, thereby healing it. Simba is really touched by what Kiara just did. Overhead, the clouds clear, and the sun shines down on the two prides. Simba looks up at the light. He smiles and embraces Kiara. Nala watches with very great delight, hope, and happiness that Kiara and Simba have finally reconciled. After that, everything else goes on as originally.
