Water moved all thoughout Cor de Leon and yet it was foreign to him. When fiery eyes met liquid so blue he nearly felt his legs move as if to drop in and let the comforting pressure drag him down but his heart flared out like a hissing cat pushing him away from it. He damned her. La mer. She pulled him out from under the rock in Russia, pulled him away from all his desires to claw his way back into the hole he came from out of fear and hatred for every cell of his being. She was strong, but what was he?
