Several times Aiden had rethought the decision to go out on the beach with the garments he chose, redressing into something more usual for him in one instance before mustering his confidence to slip the long green skirt and low orange top back on. He sat back on the bed to mull over it some more, looking down at himself every other passing minute as the window for a good time on the beach shortened.

For one, he was thankful to be able to present himself this way now. But being perceived as a result of presenting himself to the outside world terrified him. With socializing already being awkward with shorts and a T-shirt on, he could only imagine the nervousness that would infect him if he so happened to fall into a conversation.

He leaned forward, noticing the flopped furball that laid on his feet. Ratarti looked up at him, definitely confused why it was taking a little longer to go outside and have fun. Aiden reached down to his friend's soft head, scratching just the right spot behind each ear respectively to apologize. He was sure that his little man did not judge him, neither would Rasputin refuse to let him ride if he wore a dress. These beings cherished him deeply. It did not matter what he wore.

Ratarti yawned and stretched before trotting assertedly to the door, tail swaying. Aiden smiled. He took a moment to exhale all the anxiety within him and stand up, collecting Ratarti's leash, some very important suncreen, and a few other important things before heading to the door.
