I was looking for a picture of people mourning or lamenting for a project in school. I started doing rough sketches of what I want the actual piece to look like as well as a few studies.

It was like the only image I could find that I liked that wasn't distasteful or obscene, like a recent image or anything like that. This is the first study I've done so far, and I really liked how it came out.
