Thirteen. Obviously meant to be a Friday the 13th thing, Jason Voorhees and Machetes. BUT SOD THAT NOISE NEW FRIGHTFEST FINALLY DROPPED WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Finally! It FINALLY feels like Nintendo's pulled their thumb out of their arse and breathed some LIFE into this game. A new look for Splatsville. New outfits for Deep Cut AND the Squid Sisters, and for the first time in several years, a holiday Splatfest! And for once it feels like it's an even split for the teams; Zombies vs Skeletons vs Ghosts. But...that's the thing. Is it? Sorry folks but that last Splatfest BROKE me. Frye and Big Man fans can fight as hard as they want, it doesn't mean shit if we're outvoted by an entire country. So do I just submit and pick Shiver 'cause she'll probably win again? I don't like to be that way about Splatfests, but...55% of the vote. Jesus.
Oh yes, and news. SPLATSVILLE IS HERE...SORT OF. Apparently porting the map as a fucking MAP is impossible, so for now at least, we have Splatsville as a bunch of models. That you need to bonemerge together. So none of it has collision and lighting is dependent on which map you spawn it in. And if you lose a piece, then you have massive gaps in the terrain.
...Again, hundreds of special custom models for those hacks at Glitch Productions, and we can't port things properly. Fuck me.
