Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "sphinx" monster. EARTH Rock monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's monster effects, and your opponent cannot target them with card effects. (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card, then target 1 other face-up monster on the field: Change it to face-down Defense Position. If another EARTH Rock monster(s) you control is flipped face-up while this card was already face-up on the field: You can target 1 monster in your GY; either Special Summon it in face-down Defense Position or add it to your hand, then inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each monster you currently control. You can only use each effect of "Exxod, Master of The Guard" once per turn.
