so i bit the bullet and subscribed to hbomax...for now. honestly theres a decent amount of things im into? so i think itll be worth it.

plus i really do enjoy the adventure time distant lands series. like beemo's episode was really great and obsidian was a lot of fun to watch. plus i love seeing like...marcie becoming comfortable and growing as a person? plus her and pb having a healthier relationship where a fight doesnt mean the end (though like maybe they should address pb's need to prove herself as competent like...at some point in the future? but thats totally a thing id be okay with being worked out off screen.)

there's a part where marcie mentions that her past hurts shouldnt be what keeps her from finding present happiness and honestly i love that. plus her mom's now voiced by sapphire? like love that! i appreciate that they didnt whitewash her voice, you know?

also the opening montage was heckin sweet. im always here for domesticity.
