Looks very good. I bet you that something with that quality took a long time to build.

Thanks! Yes, it took pretty long, and it's still not finished so it will take much more

I'm currently working on other things, and I still gotta finish the head, so I can't really tell you when the body will be completed. Still, I appreciate the opinion, thank you!

awesome. my only critique at this point would be to add blast marks and other such grim detail. And maybe have a version with the windshield glowing red with backlit interior elements like pilots and instruments. Also, in the Return of the Jedi, AT-ATs had headlights. I don't remember if they were a new piece on the head or if they were there all along, but you should perhaps look into that. again, very nice

Indeed they had headlights all along, I'm going to add them too, but the head is still unfinished so many details are missing, especially at the bottom. Thank you for your opinion!

i meant to add more to my previous comment..
I'm trying to get a better grip on hard surface modelling, this looks really nice, how many separate objects is it made up from?

I'm glad you like it!
For now the scene has exactly 261 objects, but it will have at least 50% more when finished.

So far so good. Will this be available for purchase or as a freebie somewhere?

Hmmm, I haven't thought about it yet...
I guess that I will not release it for public use at all, but if asked for permission I will most likely allow to use it if the model is unaltered and I'm credited

You should check out the At-At by JHoagland here [link] it's for poser/Daz Studio but looks remarkably like yours up close.

It's a nice model, but lacks proper component scale and detail. I'm trying to make mine as perfect as possible, based on the models I named in the description. Look at the most detailed one by Jas Hodge: [link]

I don'y like the fact that none of the hatches open and that there are no preset poses for it. and the texture map is atrocious still it is pretty accurate.
