InkTober 2019 day 29 - injured

I did draw this last October (I'm just uploading it super late), but the title is from today and it definitely has not healed yet. My sister, however, who has also injured her wrists and has it much worse than me now (although I have had this injury since September 2018), was very nice and bought me a wrist splint, but I cannot find it. It's very sad because I used it two days ago and then someone decided to vacuum so they moved stuff around and I can't find it anymore.

Anyway, it's a strained wrist. Until my sister bought me the wrist splint, I just used those fancy bandages they make for this sort of thing or gave up on them because they either were too dirty (they don't clean up well even when you wash them- believe me, I tried a lot) or because they were giving me blistered. After I thought it had healed the first time, I had some really tough skin (compared to normal) between my pointer finger and thumb on my right hand (the injured wrist was the right one).

So that's what this is.
