Description after the death of Basile II his SON (YEAHH) Justinian receive the name bulgarsslayer and begin his reing with great dream for his empire.
In 1028 Justinian began a great campaigns in italy to recreate the old byzantine possesions (not the roman empire) with a little army he crush all the duchy in southern italy and began to march in direction of Rome but the pope call france and hre to help him a after that justinian abandonned this objective and conquer the city of ancona followed this Venice want to be secure her commerce and vote for the annexation by the byzantine.
Justinian was force to stop just before Ravenna because an army of a new ennemy arrived in armenia the turks attacked the city of Martyropolis in 1031 but were defeated by the local strategos and continued their way to the black sea and Justinian finnaly destroy the turks.
After 6 years of management of his empire he continued to upgrade his empire by annexing the Serbs and a parts of the Croats in a new Themes Sklavinion.
In 1045 Justinian want to secure his estern borders by build a lot of fortress in armenia and in northern syria also Justinian want to unified all the christians in the caucase.
In 1050 Justinian began his last campaigns by subjugated the georgians at the battle of Tiflis and 1 years later the last independant armenians principality were destroyed for the first time an byzantine imperor view the Caspian sea jsut before his deaths Justinian vassalized the caucasias albanians.
In 1065 Justinian died at the age of 67 years.
