What an odd question, though I don't use a ruler. I should make a gude where I guide idiots (not saying you are, I'm just gonna be really, really, REALLY specific) through my crane design making thing

lol, well, I fold up the crane, unfold it and mark where the wings are so I can put my most interesting parts where they'll be seen. I just trace the folds and doodle in side of the shapes. I can show some of my doodles from my health notebook, they're very elaborate because all I do in health is take notes, I'm a fast writer.

Oh, I see! So it's the folds in the paper that you use as guides?

And you make these into cranes!? They must be awesome!! Any photos of a constructed one?
