I see the first breath from a distance
My eyes go closed in thankful prayer.
Kneel before the burning incense
stare into hypnotic flares.

Rise from kneeling, start the hunt
Slowly stalking helpless prey.
Every day it leaps and runs
drawing closer to the day.

Patiently I pace and wait
until the day when you are mine.
Slowly drawing towards the gates
longing to tear out your spine.

Everything you loathe, I am
Your broken mirror so it seems.
From time to time I take your hand
and plant the nightmares in your dreams.

All your problems, all your pain
You'll find me standing at the source.
I drink your tears that fall like rain
and feed on each regretful choice.

Revelling in all unholy
screams are music to my ears.
I stand with demons all around
and on their wings I send your fears.

Talons clicking on the stone.
silver hair that shines like fire.
Glowing eyes read ancient tomes
To see you die, my sole desire.

Finally you fall and kneel
I approach and hold you to my breast.
And as you look in soulless eyes
I steal from you your Final Breath.
