I have to say that out of the batch of photos I uploaded today this one has to be my absolute fave. I just love the look of those faces. As I was snapping the picture an old man walked out so I got a bit of the open door in there. At first i was frustrated at him having messed up my shot, then i thought about it and the door being open really goes with the message over the door. I will have to take another trip downtown sometime soon and grab a few more pics soon, i like this photography stuffRelated content

Great symmetry in this and terrific contrast of within light, usually it's the other way around. I love the detail and angle, and that door, that wonderful door with its faces, and yes, I like the open part of it...does go along with the title.

Great idea. I might suggest trying to get a little more perspective on the doorway to emphasize the mass of the building and contrast of a fortress with an open door...
