This is my contest entry for the Music contest! There were two songs I was torn between that fit what I was going for. The first, was this one by the maine, which is a completely underated band! Which is why I went with them as the main one.

This image is set after Ata has sharpened her teeth and Temis is telling her about the stars and just sort of checking up on Ata really. I feel like this is kinda the conversation they'd be having, where Temis is trying to comfort Ata about finding her place

The other song which was a contender was The heart of a Girl by the killers. Which again is equally fitting!
That night I called her and she said
"Daddy daddy daddy, all my life
I've been trying to find my place in the world"
And I said to her
"Baby baby babe, I got all night to listen to the heart of a girl"

I can see the time drippin' down the clock,
We've been trying to hear that ancient refrain
It's the one that knows just when our heads are down
And reminds us of the place from where we came

The last line relating to how Ata needs to spend more time with rabbits and remember she is a rabbit. According to Temis anyway!

I just wanted to capture a mufasa and simba like moment between them I guess when they're just having a bit of a heart to heart. Either way its been super fun to draw! Bears are a little out of my remit but Im pleased with how it turned out!
I've recently gotten a new graphics tablet because my life is a mess and I lost my old one in between moves and I've been moving around so much this past year. I also broke my laptop like a year ago and lost half of my WIPs ect I had going on at the time so I guess its time to start over. I've got some stuff I've been working on in the background ticking over that I should be bringing out soon. I've got my own comic which Im working on the plot for in the background based on what I do for a job for the time being! I've literally been dead on here for over a year and I think the last thing I drew was Rig from doe of deadwood anyway. But life gets in the way sometimes. Now things are somewhat settled I have more time for drawing again and it feels so damn good! I think its time all my OCs had a complete redraw too and I just want to uproot everything and start anew.

Anyway.
