remember when I showed you Mio and Mao? Well, they're not the only Italian cartoon characters. Here's another one that's by far more famous: Pimpa.

Pimpa is a doggy with a big imagination who lives with her owner (and guardian) Armando. Created by comic book writer and illustrator Francesco Tullio Altan in 1975.

To most of you, this character might seem fairly unknown, but here in Italy is nearly as popular as Mickey Mouse (despite not seeing her for a really long time).
