Awesome! I love it how you had no lineart, you just used color mastery to show the real emotion behind the thing...plus fire is cool.

Hahaha, yeah I wanted to try it without lineart, just straight painting. It originally started as me doodling on sai casue I was bored, then I turned it into something xD

Thanks, lol yeah they looked pretty crap, hence why it originally didnt have eyes xD but it wasnt really recognisable as arcanine without them, so had to figure out a way to bring them in
I'd have to know how to colour good myself for that

... nice work... it's amazing how a picture looks so fantastic with almost 100% smudge strokes... the 'action' mode of the picture and of course the color choice has made this picture a fabulous work...

This is truly quite the piece of work i must say, i love the strokes that truly make Arcanine ablaze! I think my Girlfriend would love to see this because she is a Fan of the Growlithe Arcanine family
