Description
The Project 
Over 100+ characters, symbols, and logos seen around this awesome community.
Some are emotes, some are mascots, others are images that stand for deviants. You get the drift.
The Art Images: Mouse-drawn in Illustrator 10
Layout: Photoshop CS
Time: About 25 hours believe it or not. I was a total vector n00b going into this project
100% work done by me.
I did have reference photos of course, but the vectors are origional.
Even things down to the dA logo and Fella were re-vectored by me.
Sorry for the big file size...it's about 1.5 MB.

If you are one of those ~100 people of whom I chose to vector and you are very upset that I included an image representing you, please let me know via noting me, and I'll edit you out of it. I don't want to make anyone upset by doing this. Feel free to do what you wish with the images I made. Just please give credit where credit is due I have each image as a separate .ai file. Therefore, if you would like the image to make into a devID, avatar, or whatever the hell you'd want it for, I can email it to you. Please note me with your email address if you want your .ai. Acknowledgments `voodoo-prophet - Thanks for always being there for me, and putting up with my vector questions. `snowmask - Wow Katie, you have helped me out so much with this. Saying "this is amazing" would be an understatement.
But my limited vocabulary wont allow for a proper congratulations, so I have to say "this is amazing" becuase I do not know any other words to describe it.
It's really cool that you put so much time and effort into each and every avatar, I would never have the pacience to do that....
It's very colorful and expressive, it represents deviantart very well, just exciting. And it seems really busy (though in a good way

Dude, this is one of the most major projects I've seen in a very long time, the characters you have chosen here are simply what makes this community what it is today. This is for sure awesomely put together

beautiful job matt.
it's come out looking gorgeous i think, for one reason, and for one reason only. it's that you did everything yourself, and by doing so you poured your own style into the piece, instead of matching everything exactly how it was (in reality). i don't mean that everything you is miles away from the real image created, it's very close, the only thing that seperates your work from the actual creations, is that you took everything and vectored it again, and made it your own. and that makes it so much more beautiful to look at and view, because there're so many styles, so many images, so many different "things" (for lack of a better term) created by so many people, and "owned" (again, for lack of a better term) by so many people, but it's all yours.
the bright colours really add this energy to the piece, and gives it a sort of cartoony feel, especially in some places like the devil's eyes and mouth (i forgot the guy's name.
