Version 1 of my entry for QuinnTheAssistant 's contest...

The Great Myphizto come back on stage. Quinn had been excited to see such a legendary, and slightly infamous, magician book a show where she lived and equally excited to be watching his live show. The dastardly magician had completed the first half of the show, during which he utilized his lovely assistant Trixie and they started the show with a classic Fire Cage appearance and a Hindu Sword Basket. There was a brief pause in the illusion lineup for some slight of hand, then the magician and assistant got back into it: Trixie's head was temporarily removed from her body while she looked confused, and then she was burned alive, while looking completely terrified before she was sealed into the chamber. With the angry demeanor of the magician, Quinn was more than a little relieved to see Trixie return to the stage for the next act!

"I shall now preform my next act with the assistance from a lovely young lady from the audience... YOU!" the magician said pointing directly to Quinn. Quinn was surprised with this sudden turn of events and instantly blushed. She had always wanted to be a magician's lovely assistant! This was her dream! She couldn't believe it but her moment had finally arrived!

Quinn stood and walked to the stage without delay, up the stairs, and toward her destiny. The magician scowled and leered at her. Trixie had wheeled an odd prop to the stage, and there was another one just visible off to the side...
